The new 3D engine in Simcad ProTM 7.0 allows users to generate 3D visualization and animation in record time by dynamically interfacing to CAD files and the “smart positioning extraction” from 2D process maps. “Users can reposition processes, and adjust distances from the 3D views. Simcad ProTM provides a 3D environment that rivals in its features the 2D process mapping environment provided with other competing software” says Hosni Adra, Product Manager at CreateASoft. The new integration with SimDATATM provides the first fully integrated PDA data collection tool with the dynamic simulation engine of Simcad ProTM. Moreover, the new dynamic chart tracking features track changes in lead times, utilization, and efficiencies in real time during the simulation run.
